GO SLOWLY.  GO QUIETLY.

The River Room offers a curated refuge inspired by the enduring beauty of the White Mountains: granite that endures, rivers that reshape, and ridgelines that rise, inviting you to slow down, settle into stillness and remember your own natural rhythm.

In a world that asks us to go faster, do more, and push through, our River Room sessions offer something rare: permission to pause. Whether you choose a Relaxation or Neurosculpting session, each one invites you into a setting of quiet support ~ where breath deepens, urgency softens, and your nervous system is gently reminded what ease can feel like.

Relaxation Session: A quiet invitation to rest. Arrive and settle into the heated zero-gravity massage lounger. Wrap yourself in a weighted blanket. Let the murmur of the river beyond the windows remind you; you don’t have to do anything right now. With soft light, warm tea, and time that’s truly yours ~ this is reminder that rest itself is a form of healing.

Neurosculpting Session: Like the river reshapes stone, the brain too can carve new pathways towards ease. For those seeking deeper support, Neuroscultping sessions build on the Relaxation experience by layering in advanced neurotechnology tools. These may include neurofeedback, brainwave entrainment, vagal nerve toning, HRV or breath training, and cognitive retraining. Designed to gently interrupt chronic stress patterns and support new neural pathways, these sessions help the nervous system remember its natural rhythm of regulation and cultivate resilience.

Some days, rest is enough. Other days call for deeper support. Both sessions offer a pathway back to yourself ~ one breath at a time.

RELAXATION SESSIONS

Solitude Private Session

A quiet haven to retreat, recharge, and simply be.

Tuck into a private sanctuary designed for quiet rest. Settle into a zero-gravity massage chair, cocooned in a weighted blanket, silk eye mask, and soft ambient lighting. This is your invitation to pause — an unhurried moment to return to yourself.

You may explore gentle rituals such as Buddha Board painting, reflective journaling, or simply listening to the quiet flow of the river nearby. Optional use of Sensate, TouchPoint, Mendi, and Blooming Tea Ritual available upon request.

Quiet Companion Session

A shared sanctuary for silent restoration.

Step into stillness alongside others. This small group session invites individuals to rest quietly together in a shared space, each in their own zero-gravity chair. Guests may sip tea, journal, or simply breathe into the calm — all at their own pace.

This session is open to the public and may include up to four guests per session. While you may register with a friend or loved one, many guests attend individually, simply sharing the space quietly with others.

Includes full access to self-guided relaxation tools.

Private Companion Ritual

A shared haven for quiet celebration, connection, and care.

Designed for private small groups, this special session invites you and your companions to step away from the pace of life and settle into a private sanctuary together. Whether you’re marking a milestone, sharing intentional time with loved ones, or simply seeking quiet restoration, this experience offers spacious, unhurried care.

Guests settle into zero-gravity chairs surrounded by soft lighting, weighted blankets, and gentle sensory supports. You’ll share the Blooming Tea Ritual — a quiet, unfolding moment of beauty as hand-tied tea blossoms open in a shared glass teapot.

Optional use of relaxation tools such as NuCalm, Sensate, or TouchPoints is available to further support nervous system settling and restoration.

NEUROSCULPTING SESSIONS

Each Neurosculpting session includes time to gently arrive and softly settle. After the guided portion, you’ll enter The Land Between — an unhurried pause where integration begins. Here, you may sip tea, sit quietly, or simply rest and allow your system to gently absorb what’s unfolding.

**Optional Enhancements:  At times, additional supports may be offered to complement your session. These gentle tools provide subtle cues to assist your nervous system in settling, focusing, or shifting out of stress responses. They may be introduced during your session or added upon request.

TouchPoints — Bilateral Stimulation

Hand-held or wearable devices offering rhythmic, alternating vibrations that gently engage both hemispheres of the brain. May assist in calming stress responses, supporting focus, or easing looping thoughts. Can be used during some active and restful sessions.

Granite Rest

A structured track for deep restoration and nervous system reset. NuCalm combines neuroacoustic frequencies, biosignal stimulation, and somatic comfort to downshift your system into parasympathetic regulation—similar to the quiet steadiness of granite underfoot.

River Place

Inspired by the flow of the nearby river, this somatic session combines gentle vagal nerve support and calming soundscapes to invite the body into a state of rest. Using infrasonic vibration through the chest (Sensate) for vagal nerve stimulation your session will be guided to match your comfort and needs. Subtle, internal, and layered like river current — no effort required, just quiet settling.

Quiet Ascent

A gently structured neurofeedback session to support focus, emotional regulation, and mental clarity. The Mendi headband measures prefrontal blood flow as you actively train attention and calm focus. This is not about productivity-it’s about quiet re-entry into intentional awareness. Optional journaling is available for quiet reflection following training.

Spirit Sky

A customizable immersion into brainwave flexibility and expanded perception. Using either BrainTap’s guided light and audio protocols or NeuroVizr’s patterned light/sound immersion, this session gently disrupts rigid brain patterns and invites open, intuitive states — like sky over summit.

Safety Note: For light-based protocols, not recommended for individuals with epilepsy, seizures, light sensitivity, or certain vestibular conditions. Sessions are titrated to ensure comfort.

The Resilient Heart: HeartMath Coherence Training

The Resilient Heart program is a six-week, evidence-based series designed to help individuals affected by trauma, chronic stress, and emotional dysregulation. Developed by HeartMath and grounded in extensive research on heart rate variability (HRV), this program offers practical tools to support self-regulation, enhance resilience, and restore emotional balance.

Through simple, accessible techniques, participants learn to engage the heart’s natural rhythm to calm the nervous system, stabilize mood, and interrupt the cycles of anxiety, panic, and hyperarousal often associated with trauma. Real-time biofeedback offers immediate visual feedback of heart-brain coherence, allowing participants to witness and refine their own self-regulation skills.

HeartMath is currently utilized worldwide in clinical, humanitarian, and therapeutic settings, including hospitals, military and veteran care, trauma recovery programs, mental health clinics, and first responder support. Research demonstrates that HRV coherence training can improve symptoms related to:

• Emotional dysregulation

• PTSD

• Anxiety and depression

• Sleep disturbances

• Cognitive focus and decision-making

• Physiological resiliency

This six-week series includes:

• Weekly small-group therapeutic sessions led by a certified Resilient Heart Facilitator.

• Education, guided practice, and individualized support to build confidence in using HeartMath tools.

• Weekly integration sessions in The River Room, incorporating NuCalm technology to support nervous system recovery and deepen regulation.

No prior experience is necessary. This program is designed to complement other therapies and support individuals navigating the effects of trauma, chronic stress, or high-performance environments. Trauma-informed. Evidence-based. Practical. Restorative.
